Mindfulness is a practice that has deep roots in ancient wisdom and is incredibly relevant in today's fast-paced and often stressful world. It offers a way to cultivate a sense of calm, clarity, and inner peace amidst the constant distractions and demands of modern life.
Not long ago, Ann was introduced to me by her daughter. She was living with chronic grief and challenging physical health issues. Her intention was not to find a cure for her grief or health problems, but rather to develop skills for living with daily life's complexities.
Prior to her starting with me, Ann had a superficial understanding of mindfulness but had not done anything with it. However, through the 8-week course she gained a deeper understanding of the theory, and how the practice of mindfulness has positively affected her whole being.
